Center Hours
Monday 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Tuesday 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Thursday 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Students visit the center once or twice a week. We are open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons. A student will typically spend 30 to 45 minutes in the center. In addition to work in the center, students will also receive assignments to complete when they are not in center. Much like learning to play a musical instrument or mastering a sport, daily practice is critical. We try to limit the daily time requirement to 15 – 20 minutes or less. This can be bumped to 30 minutes if the student is taking both math and reading.
If you want more information or want to discuss the specifics of your situation please email brucef@kumonspokane-southhill.com or call 509-532-8660 and ask for Bruce Fitterer. Please consider attending one of our upcoming parent information sessions or calling to schedule an information and free testing session. There is no obligation.
Our next one hour parent information sessions will be:
Tuesday, August 24
Thursday, September 9
Monday, September 27All sessions begin at 7:00 pm and last approximately one hour.
Location
We are located in the Lincoln Heights Area, just west of Regal Avenue on 30th Ave,

Bruce Fitterer - The Owner

I was born and raised in Yakima. After spending 18 years working for a major corporation, my family and I decided to return to Eastern Washington. I have a zoology degree from Washington State University, a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Washington and a MBA from Seattle University.
My youngest son was enrolled in Kumon Math at our previous residence. My wife and I were very pleased with his improved math competency. More importantly, the confidence and discipline he developed as a result of the Kumon approach carried over to his other subjects as well.
I was surprised and disappointed that there were no Kumon centers when we moved to Spokane in February 2000. I was so impressed with the program that I trained as a Kumon Instructor at the Seattle Branch office of Kumon USA and decided to open this Center.
